Absolutely loved The Richmond... from the warm welcome, attentive service, elegant decor and best of all the oyster happy hour!! In the evenings The Richmond gets very busy and booking is advised... it was a few weeks ago I went for the first time and returned for oyster happy hour last week. If you can make it for the oysters then I highly recommend them. I seem to remember you're not supposed to eat oysters during months that don't contain the letter "r" but glad that didn't stop us 🙂 ... the oyster menu comprised of roughly 8 different types of rock oyster each with their own characteristics. We ordered 6 each to start.. and then another 6 and then just a couple more. Accompanied by a very fine Chenin Blanc, this was a perfect start to a Friday evening. Miso shucked.
