The Quality Chop House is a restaurant and butcher on Farringdon Road. We chose to dine here because we were a couple of weeks into game season and I was dying to eat grouse somewhere. The restaurant sits in a 19th Century Grade II listed building and is still configured in it’s original design. The menu is predominantly British, locally sourced and sustainable. Possibly my new favourite brunch place in London. It might seem an exaggeration to claim the whole of London but let’s face it, at that hour I’m not trekking too far from base as chances are I’m not fully functional at brunch o’clock anyway. Nonetheless it sounds better and I’m happy to give Granger and go praise where praise is due.
